How It Works

Not the ones from the drugstore. Not the ones that popped off by lunchtime. Solira sets are handpainted, made to fit your hands, and applied in about fifteen minutes. When they're done right — and applied right — they look and feel like a proper salon set. Here's everything you need to know.

Get Your Sizing Sorted

You've got three options:

  • •I send two of each size 0–11 in your set so you can try them all — no measuring, nothing to do beforehand
  • •Take a photo of each finger next to a coin and send it to me — I size you from the photo and send only your sizes
  • •Order a $10 sizing kit (applied toward your order), find your sizes, send them back to me, and I make your set — note this option takes a little longer since the kit needs to ship first

Prep Your Natural Nails

This is the step most people skip, and it's the reason most press-ons fall off early. Push back your cuticles. Buff lightly to remove shine. Wipe with rubbing alcohol to remove any oil. No lotion, no base coat — just clean, dry nails. Everything you need is included in your kit.

Apply

Apply nail glue to both your natural nail and the press-on for maximum hold. Press the nail onto your nail bed starting at the cuticle line, then press down firmly for 30 seconds. Hold. Don't rush this part. Nail glue is included. One more thing — try not to get them wet for at least an hour after applying. The glue needs time to fully cure. My trick? I do my nails at night. Face is already washed, or I just use a wipe. Then I'm just resting and sleeping while the glue does its thing. You wake up and they're set.

Remove Without Drama

First, use the included cuticle pusher to gently break the seal around the edges — that's the step everyone skips and it makes all the difference. Then soak your fingertips in warm soapy water for 10–15 minutes and they slide right off. No ripping, no acetone, no drama. Your natural nails will thank you. Hot tip: put on your favorite show or queue up your favorite TikToks and enjoy the me time. This is your time. Nobody needs anything from you right now.

Make Them Last
